The Children's Advocacy Center is a non-profit agency serving child
victims of physical and sexual abuse in the city of Bristol, VA and Washington
County, VA.
The Children's
Advocacy Center serving Bristol VA and Washington County since August
1998 is a non-profit agency aiding children who are victims of physical
and sexual abuse. Recently, the Center has purchased the pre-Civil War
home of Col. John Preston located next to Sugar Hollow Park. Once restored,
the Preston Home will be a sanctuary for abused children ideal to both
city and county residents. While money was donated by Washington County
and Bristol Virginia to buy the house, there
will be a lot of opportunities for the community to participate in this
wonderful crusade to help the children....our future.
AntiqueRealestate.com will be documenting
the restoration process
of the Preston Home, a pre-Civil War estate. Updates of the work done on
the home will be added periodically so you can watch a treasure being restored...
